The 2013 Safari-Eclipse
In November 2013, I was on TravelQuest’s Kenya-Uganda eclipse trip. We first went to Kenya where we toured Nairobi and then stayed in a Safari camp in the Amboseli National Park. We then flew to Massai Mara. After seeing the wildlife for a couple days, we flew to Uganda and stayed at a camp at Murchison Falls National Park. On Eclipse Day, we set up to view the eclipse from a school in Pokewaro. But clouds interfered, so at the last minute, abandoned the school and drove down the road finding a gap in the clouds to see the 22s eclipse. YouTube video.
