The 2020 Chile Solar Eclipse Flight
In 2020, all of the eclipse tours were cancelled due to COVID. Then in November, while COVID had temporarily waned, Chile and Argentina briefly opened with restrictions to travelers. T.E.I. Tours, which specializes in small groups and eclipse flights organized a ground based eclipse expedition to Pucon, Chile. However, heavy clouds threatened to block the eclipse. To ensure seeing the eclipse, the group chartered two small business jets to get above the clouds and see 2m 40s of totality. YouTube video.
