The 2024 Eclipse of the Sierra Madre
In April 2024, TravelQuest International took over 100 eclipse chasers to tour central Mexico. We visited Mexico City, Los Mochis, El Fuerté, Divisadero, Creel, Chihuahua, and Torreón. Originally planning on seeing the eclipse in Torreón, because of clouds impacting most of the eclipse path, the group drove 125 miles south to the town of Francisco I. Modero, just outside of Durango. There we saw the eclipse in mostly clear skies. YouTube Video.
